Dr. Angel Ramos travels extensively throughout the country sending a powerful positive message to people that by working together as Partners we can overcome anything -- including oppression, discrimination, and racism.
Rising from the cockroach and rat infested slums of New York City, he overcame poverty and discrimination to become the second Deaf Hispanic to receive a doctorate degree in the world and one of the first Deaf individuals to receive the prestigious Fulbright Scholar Award.
A Sertoman and Optimist, Dr Ramos has spent over 35 years working to improve the education of Deaf and hard of hearing students. He is author of Triumph of the Spirit: The DPN Chronicle, which is used in many college programs throughout the country. Dr. Ramos is respected throughout the United States and internationally as an author, lecturer, philanthropist, and teacher.
